I just installed the latest versione of Adobe Acrobat Reader DC on a new PC running Windows 10 64bit. The installed versione of Acrobat is 20.013.20074

I am experience problems with a lot of PDF files created by third parties.

The pdf producer are is mainly:

- Microsoft word for Microsoft 365

- Microsoft ppt for Microsoft 365

- Microsoft excel for Microsoft 365

Please consider that I can open the same files with other PCs running windows 10 64bit too (both with Acrobat Reader and Acrobat Pro)

I aready tried to unistall and reinstall Acrobat (both Reader and Pro) but the problem is still there.

Can someone help?

Best

Hi Antonio

Hope you are doing well and sorry for the trouble. As described you are getting the error 'can not find or create font'

Would you mind sharing the workflow/steps you are doing to create the PDF from MS Word, Excel or Powerpoint? Are you saving it to PDF or Adobe PDF?
Please try to create the PDF using the Acrobat ribbon present in the toolbar at the top in MS Office application (If you have Acrobat DC installed) and see if that helps.

For more information about creating the PDF from MS office please check the help page: https://helpx.adobe.com/in/acrobat/how-to/create-pdf-files-word-excel-website.html

Also, you may try the following preference settings and see if that helps:
Go to Edit (Win), Adobe Acrobat (Mac) > Preferences > Page display > Under Rendering, Select 'use local fonts' > Click OK and reboot the application.

Let us know how it goes.

Regards

I can't because  I receive this file from many differt people. I am not the one creating the file. I do not think this is the problem because anyone can open those files including myself with other 2 different PC

Done, no changes
