Hello Theresaw,

I am sorry for the trouble you had with Adobe Reader, please reboot the machine once and download Adobe Reader from Adobe - Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Distribution

Try installing Adobe Reader and once it is installed, reboot the machine and then check for the latest patch of Adobe Reader 19.008.20080 from help menu>check for updates.

For testing purpose, create a test user profile with full admin rights and try installing Adobe Reader and check.

Is it possible to post a screenshot of the error message you are getting? To post the screenshot, refer to https://forums.adobe.com/docs/DOC-7043#jive_content_id_How_do_I_attach_a_screenshot

let us know how it goes and share your findings.

Thanks,

Anand Sri,
