Free form draw and erase (comments and questions)

I'm trying to use my Microsoft Surface to grade papers in Adobe Reader (without a keyboard of course).  A few "features" are driving me nuts so badly that I had to stop working, find my Adobe login and come here to complain (and maybe find solutions).

1) Touch and hold to simulate right click while I'm in the middle of free-form drawing is extremely unwelcome.  It stops me from drawing fine detail and there's nothing in that context menu that I can't get to in some other way.  And I encounter the problem not "drawing" but writing.  In particular, letters like S which require detailed pen motions in a small space frequently trigger the touch-and-hold to right click.

2) The eraser tool is extremely WEIRD.  Trying to get it to erase anything is a major pain.  It's bad enough with a mouse and almost impossible to use with the pen.  It seems to want to simulate an old-school pencil eraser where you rub back and forth to delete something.  Cute but extremely non-functional.  Why not just erase pixels or strokes immediately as in OneNote? EDIT: I've realized that this works better if you push the pen harder into the screen... I guess the pen or screen is touch sensitive.

3) Tap to create a perfect little dot... I'd rather just draw my own dot.  The perfect dot is too big and usually unwanted. I end up with dots at the start of many lines... it just looks sloppy.  Even when I need a dot (such as at the bottom of a question mark), the perfect dot looks strange beneath my hand drawn question mark.

4) Lack of an easy Undo. I'm not sure if this can be supported, but it would be great if you could map pen buttons to functions (overriding whatever Windows uses them for).  I'd map the eraser to Undo in an instant... though I'd be less likely to need so many Undo's if not for problems 1 to 3.  I finally realized I can at least put an Undo button in the tool bar up top.

Can anyone suggest any solutions?  I hope this feedback will make it to Adobe so they can consider changing this bad design.  The tools are almost right and would be very useful with a few changes.
