Full tooltip text not appearing in newer versions of Adobe Reader DC

Hello,

I have a form that contains a field with a rather large tooltip- over 20 lines of text. The tooltip worked properly through the 8/2/17 Adobe Reader DC update. However, since all the updates after that, only about half of the tooltip text appears. Does anyone have a fix?

It actually appears just fine in Acrobat Pro DC, but most of the form users only have Reader.

Can you share a file that demonstrates this issue (via Dropbox, Google Drive, etc.)?

@try67 I just sent you a message with a link to a sample pdf of the issue. It's not an issue with our file, it's an issue with using tooltip. It has behaved fine until the recent updates.

I suggest you post the link here, so more people can see it. Your file is a LiveCycle Designer form, which is very likely the cause for this problem. You should report it as a bug here: Feature Request/Bug Report Form

Thanks. I have reported it. LiveCycle may be the problem, but the original form was created in LiveCycle too and we never had an issue with the feature before the most recent updates.

Acrobat and Reader DC have all kinds of issues with LCD forms. This just might be yet another one...
