Google Drive Connection Error "Access blocked: Adobe Acrobat is not approved by Advanced Protection"

Hello,

I'm encountering the following error while trying to connect my online storage Google Drive account to Adobe Acrobat:

Access blocked: Adobe Acrobat is not approved by Advanced Protection

The Advanced Protection Program performs additional security checks to safeguard your account data, and it hasn't approved this app. This security feature stops most non-Google apps and services from accessing your data to keep your account protected.

If you are a developer of Adobe Acrobat, see error details.

Error 400: policy_enforced

I want to clarify that I have the Advanced Protection Program activated on my Google account, and I do not want to deactivate it.

Could anyone help me resolve this issue? Is there a way to make Adobe Acrobat compatible with Google's Advanced Protection Program?

Thank you!

Hello,

I hope you're doing well, and we apologize for the delayed response and the trouble.

Check Google Account Settings: Ensure your Google account's Advanced Protection Program is configured correctly. This program restricts access to non-Google apps for enhanced security.

Update Adobe Acrobat: Make sure you have the latest version of Adobe Acrobat installed. Go to Menu> Check for Updates in Adobe Acrobat, and restart the machine after installing the updates.

Adjust Trust Manager Settings:

  • Open Adobe Acrobat.
  • Go to Edit > Preferences > Trust Manager.
  • Click on Change Settings and remove any blocked websites.

Reauthorize Google Drive:

  • Remove the Google Drive account from Adobe Acrobat.
  • Reboot your device.
  • Re-add the Google Drive account and check if the issue persists.

Let us know how it goes.

Thanks,
