Question

Have the dictionaries been removed?

So I am currently in a situation where I have spell checking enabled in my Acrobat Reader DC Continous release 2021.001.20155

What I do not have, however, are more than one dictionary, I can see it in the settings, and such, and even using the brillilant little page created in this post:

https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-reader/spell-checking-form-boxes/m-p/11884199

Gives the result of "YES" I have spelling enabled but the only dictionary name in the list is sv_SE. So nothing wrong as such with the program or the installation.

Naturally I would then need to download additional dictionaries. However that seems to be darn right impossible. None of the links I have found works (mostly  Adobe - Adobe Reader : For Windows : Adobe Acrobat/Reader DC Spelling Dictionary Pack (Continuous)  ) All the pages I have found seem to simply be gone, giving a "ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE" when I try to access them. Before you ask, yes I have found this page: 32-bit Font Pack and Spelling Dictionary | Acrobat Reader DC However there are no dictionaries on that page, only fonts which enable display of asian language documents (I have that installed as well).

So the million dollar question is, where can I download dictionaries for AR? Or is the product just being discontinued so we should use something else for our pdf-needs?

So nobdy that knows where these have been moved to?

I sort of like Acrobat, but if this does not work I will have to use something else, since this is non-optional for my work unfortunately.

No, but the pages where the links were located were removed...

You can find them here: https://helpx.adobe.com/in/acrobat/kb/windows-font-packs-32-bit-reader.html

I would assume as much, but as I wrote in the initial post, I have already found that page, and it does not in fact contain any dictionaries, only fonts, which I have already installed.

So the original question remains, where can I find the dictionaries?

They are there on that page:
