How do I hide the Comments List permanently? Is there a preference for that?

Since my annotations are primarily pen markups, I only want the Quick Tools to show.

Hi Kpdfw,

No, there isn't any commenting preferences setting that can be disabled to hide the comment list permanently. You can hide it temporarily by clicking on the "Arrow" available on the side-bar.

Or you can change the behavior for already opened document- Open Acrobat>Edit>Preferences>General> "Restore last view setting when reopening documents"

If require, you can change the comment pop-up behavior from commenting preferences. Open Acrobat>Edit>Commenting.
