You should enable "Assistive Technology Support", under the application's Preferences, Accessibility tab, as well as any other options there that might help you. To highlight text you need to select it by holding down Ctrl and using the arrow keys, then clicking the right-click menu button and pressing H.

Thanks for your response. Could you please be more specific which
accessibility option can do the needful (as i have turn on accessibility
support already in the preference menu). Further, after selecting the text
and opening the right click context menu, i am unable to find "highlight
option".Looking forward for a solution ASAP.

- Sorry, I can't be more specific about this issue. I'm not overly familiar with the various accessibility options.

- Do you not see a menu similar to this?

If not, then what do you see?
