Highlights disappeared

Suddenly a pdf I've edited and saved a few times has been reset to it's original file, with the last edit showing the day I downloaded the file. Even in revent files, I can see the highlights in the small thumbnail of the file, but they are not there when I open it.

I had the same problem today and lost a whole days worth of work, extremely frustrating. Seems like a common problem? Any fixes?

I was using a file remotely from Dropbox, but it usually works fine when saving a copy in the same place. Tried it today again and it works.

Did you somehow solved this problem? I cannot with mine. Twice it happened and it is so infuriating!

Open the file and then open the Comments panel and make sure that the Filter setting is set to show all comments.
