how can i remove the author's name and all name references from a pdf made in acrobat 11.0.07

Could you please clarify whether you are using Adobe Reader or Acrobat as both are different products.

In order to change your personal information, you need to open Acrobat/Reader Preferences and change or remove information under "Identity" preference.

Also, you can open document properties (By choosing File > Properties) and remove author's information under 'Description' tab.

In Acrobat, you can also find 'Addition Metadata' option, clicking on which you can change author details.
