How can I rotate a document and save?

I use Adobe

Reader 8 and cannot rotate and save documents? Can anyone help?

I am not sure whether rotate feature is there in Adobe Reader 8

This feature is included in Adobe Reader 10

You can download Adobe Reader, just click here : ftp://ftp.adobe.com/pub/adobe/reader/win/10.x/10.0.0/en_US/AdbeRdr1000_en_US.exe

Save it and run, it will install Adobe Reader 10

Once it launched click on View (From Menu bar on Top) and then click on Rotate View -> As per your choice

Then you can Click on File and "Save As" -> PDF

View>Rotate View only saves the view for the current session. When you reopen the document, it will open up the way it was before rotating.

Reader cannot make that sort of changes and save them.

That will be a change for that current session and Adobe Reader is a software which is used view PDF

If you want to make changes then you need Acrobat X, which is used to edit PDF

An old thread but you re correct. It's already been established that Adobe Reader cannot do this. Mac or Windows. I'll mention it again but to rotate and save pages in a pdf document, you would need the full version of Adobe Acrobat (not to be confused with the now-named Acrobat Reader).

And to avoid confusion, I just pointed out the fact that it had nothing to do with the product that they have.

(We've already mentioned that it can be done in Acrobat).

Install a pdf file printer driver and print the rotated file to the "pdf" printer. It will ask you for a file name to "print" to. The "printed" file will open in the correct orientation.

Acrobat can rotate pages directly. There's no need to do it like that. This thread is about how to do it in Reader, which can't be done...

~graffiti is correct. Acrobat Reader cannot be used to rotate and *save* PDF files. To do this you must have the full version of Acrobat, or use a third party app, web service or driver.

Very interesting that the contributor on this thread who actually works for Adobe seems to know the least about Acrobat Reader.

For anyone who comes across this using Adobe Acrobat Pro DC, you can rotate and save your PDF using the "Organize Pages" feature, which can be found under "Tools".

I have rotated my document(s) using the solution you listed above as well as trying the 'rotate pages' method via Page Thumbnails > Options > Rotate Pages and whilst they rotate the document correctly, the document still saves with the original/incorrect orientation. Any ideas as to where it's going awry?

As already mentioned, if you are using the free Acrobat Reader, you cannot save the rotated pages. If you are using the full paid-for version of Acrobat, please post in the Acrobat forum.

Step one ( this is on the assumption that the PDF is open )

open MS Word, go to layout and check thin margin. 

Two-- get you snipping tool ( a pc freebiie) once open, select new. Choose the mode- Rectangular snip.

three-- snip the page in the pdf. 

four-- Go to the blank word and select control+v.

It is now a ong or Jpeg. grab the rotate tool on the image and rotate. you may have to sesize by grabbing one of the cormer tools on theimage.

four B--- if the image is not clear double click on the image and the phto correctopns secion will appear., choose corrections then Sharpen/soften.

Five --- file-- save as--- filetype-- PDF ..tada there you have it. now open it in Adobe if it doesnt automaticay do so. Read on my friend..
