How do I change the font in Adobe Acrobat Reader DC for printing purposes?

I am trying to change the font in a PDF file so when I print it out, I can actually read it.  When I printed it out, the current font was very, very small (8 pt. or less) and difficult for my old eyes to read and it's a 10-page document.  I know I can zoom the image in Reader, but reading a long document on screen quite literally makes me cross-eyed.

I did a search of the forums and saw something from 2015 which advised to "Go to View-> Show/Hide-> Page Controls-> Uncheck 'Undock' and the option above should be 'Hide Page Controls'."  Then click on Edit  PDF  on the right hand side  and choose the font size under Format Options.  I tried that.  When I click on Edit PDF there isn't a Format Option.  I thought perhaps I had an older version, but I'm showing Version 2015.023.20070 which is what it shows if I go to download it.

This is a document I will have to refer to frequently and I would really like to be able to read it with a much larger font.  I know it will increase the number of pages to print out, but trying to deal with the document as it is now is extremely difficult for me.  Can anyone help me on this.  Thanks.

Sorry, but this is not possible to do with Reader. I would suggest you copy the text from the file and paste it into something like Word, where it is possible. With Reader you can only zoom in to make the text larger, but that might not work for you... You should also have a look at the Accessibility options, which allow changing the document colors (for a better contrast between the text and the background) as well as enable assistive technology, etc. You'll find them under Edit - Preferences - Accessibility.

The instruction you are trying to follow is not for the free Acrobat Reader but the paid for Acrobat. However this kind of edit is not feasible even there.
