Hello,
I need to make anonymous comments in a PDF using Adobe Reader. Could someone tell me how to do that? None of the instructions I see online match my screen. For instance, I don't see an "Author" tab anywhere. I saw that someone posted this same question about 8 years ago, and someone replied with a URL to a PDF that no longer works. Thanks in advance!
Bill

Oops, never mind, I figured it out! It's kind of counterintuitive, but you leave a comment with your name, then right-click the comment, open the General tab, and then change the name in the Author window to be anonymous.

You can also use this free tool I've created to anonymize all the comments in the file with a single click:

What I did was right click on the comment. Click on properties when the box pops up. Click on the Geral tab at the top. Change the Author to anonymous. I don't know how to do the whole document at once. At least the document comments are anonymous.
