How do I read Digital Editions PDF in Reader DC

when I try to open an EBook with Acrobat Reader DC I get "there was an error opening this document. the security plugin required is unavailable".  Help-About Plugins says Ebooks.api is loaded and certidfied. I'm signed in to my Adobe account and the pdf opens in Digital Editions.

Hi Davidgravolin,

As the shared above that you are trying to open the digital edition PDF in Reader DC, so are those digital edition files are in .pdf format or in .epub?

If its an .pdf file then it should get opened through the Adobe Reader but if its in .epub format then you need to take the help of the converter to first convert the file and then open it in Reader.

Because Reader doesn't support the digital edition's file format.

Digital editions created it as a .pdf so I assume its PDF format
