how do I remove the editing sidebar in Reader that is trying to get me to sign up for Acrobat?

The sidebar is not active, it's just a very annoying marketing ploy that takes up screen real estate.  How do I disable it?

thanks

Bill

Hi there

Hope you are doing well and thanks for reaching out.

Would you mind sharing the screenshot of the editing sidebar that is appearing on your screen for more clarity?

Also go to Preferences (Ctrl,Cmd+K) > General > Under, messages from Adobe Uncheck "Show me messages when I launch Adobe Acrobat"  > Click OK and reboot the application and see if that helps.

Hi Amal

I'm referring to the All Tools / Edit / Convert / E-sign you can see in the attached snip of the Reader pane.  Your suggestion did not remove this and I don't see anything else that might be relevant in Preferences.

Thanks

Bill
