How do I save print settings in Acrobat Reader DC?

New Here ,

Part of my job involves opening pdf files and printing them on paper for distribution and filing.

Some of those who receive copies have requested that I print the files in such a way that the text is larger than it would otherwise be.  Since we all know that Adobe Acrobat DC isn't a word processor, I've gotten around the problem by going to File, Print, then choosing Poster, setting Tile Scale to 125% and overlap to .08

This causes the text to print in landscape orientation with text larger than normal.

My problem is that every time I open a pdf and go to print it, I have to go back through File, Print, etc. and change the print settings so the output looks like I prefer.

Is there any way to have Adobe Acrobat DC maintain the print settings so I don't have to manually change them every time I go to print?

Help!

Thanks much.

Hey BufordTJustice,

Print settings are preserved until you change them. When you change an option, the Settings value automatically updates from Acrobat Default to Custom, and the new settings are preserved. You can also save custom settings using a unique name.

You may refer to the set advanced print option Advanced PDF print settings, Adobe Acrobat

Hope this helps.

There is no option to save printing settings in free version of "Adobe Acrobat Reader DC". It might be available in "Acrobat Pro" version.
