How do I set the 'select' tool as the permanent default when opening Acrobat Reader DC?

I have tried most if not all the suggestions including turning OFF all 'Make Hand Tool' options and setting Touch Mode to NEVER. It is extremely annoying to have the hand tool as the default. Can anyone help?

Version is 2015.23.20070

    PC / Windows 7 Enterprise

    On the Windows Start menu it says "Acrobat Reader DC", as mentioned in the thread title.

    On your first reply you had not even read the thread title.

    On your second reply your answer is absolutely correct, but not necessary and absolutely not helpful at all.

    People must wonder what made you reply if your intention was obviously not to help. You can only deviate people from their search for help on Google or other, just like it happened to me.
