I tried the Adobe Reader DC, and find the application's appearance appalling. The icons are ugly, the tool bar on the right border wastes 30% of the viewable area, and I have no intention of using any cloud services. I checked the Adobe support pages for previous versions of Reader. All of the links that say "older versions" bring me back to the DC installation page. Where are the other versions of Reader?
Thanks for the assistance.
Depending on your operating system, you can download Reader X, XI, and DC from http://get.adobe.com/reader/enterprise/
You need to uninstall Reader before attempting to install and older version.

I believe the question was how to uninstall it and I have the same question. Do you have an answer to that.
Thanks

DC is horrific. Thanks for the link, now I can return to a reader I can comprehend and actually use.

I installed Acrobat Reader DC on a Mac running Yosemite 10.10.4. Unfortunatly, this software crashed 3 times in a row while I tried to work on an official document issued by the government.
I didn't find any official method to cleanly uninstall this software on the Adobe web server.
Hence I had to write one.
I tested it successfully on a clean Yosemite 10.10.4. Here is this shell script:
