Hello, i am sorry if this question has been asked 1 million times already
But i am currently using the adope reader dc (free) and i want to change the default icon to show the first page of the pdf.
Because  currently have a folder with cookbooks that all have very similar names, so sort and search by name is pretty hard for me.

When i googled this problem, the only solution i found was on windows 7 and didnt work anymore, but for example if you send pdf per whatsapp they just show the first page by default, is it possible to do this in windows 10 too?

Many thanks

Hi Jp,

Thank you for reaching out.

To enable the page thumbnails, please refer to the steps suggested below:

1. In the Reader DC, go to Edit menu > Preferences > General.

2. Mark the box for "Enable PDF thumbnail previews in Windows Explorer."

3. Click on the OK button to save the changes.

Relaunch the machines once and check if you can see the first page of the pdf as a PDF icon.

Let us know how it goes.

Thanks,

Meenakshi
