How to copy data from PDF credit card statement to excel without all the formatting, logos etc

I want to export the date, descriptions and amounts from a credit card statement into excel. However, when I attempt to do so it brings with it all the formatting lines, logos and unnecessary symbols etc.

I then have to go through the copied data and delete all the unecessary data along with deleting rows to get it all to line up as it does on the actual pdf.

Do you use copy/paste or export/open or something else?
