Question

how to disable bookmark panel when opening a PDF file at very beginning

I see lots of complaints on this and there is no solution at all. Showing these panels are very annoying and can't be disabled. No one hear user's feedback and working on this?

This is getting totally ridiculous with Adobe.  Do they not test these update?  Rhetorical question BTW.  This Bookmark pop-up is the most annoying thing yet.  And I pay for the subcription to be annoyed.  Come on.  Do your job and quit screwing everything up.  You fix one thing only to break one or more things.

Hi aloha!,

Thank you for reaching out.

If the bookmarks panel appears with every PDF you open, please try the following.

- Launch the application.

- Go to Menu > View > Show/Hide > Side Panels.

- Unmark the Bookmark option.

Also, please check if there are any initial view settings applied to the document. If yes, then document settings will override the application settings. To check that, open the PDF and go to Menu > Proerpties > Initial view.

Let us know how it goes.

Thanks,

Meenakshi

unmark can't be cancel. Even if you unmark it, it still marks that 3 options: Bookmark, Comments, Pages. And if you close the window and reopen a PDF file, Bookmark panel will always show. It does not work at all.
