How to REMOVE Product Improvement Program pop up?

Installed Reader 9. Keep getting an unrequested pop up for Adobe Product Improvement Program. Have told it NO but still returns. Have changed settings in Reader - no joy.

What is the name of and path to this file so I can delete it from my hard drive?

On Windows, set a registry entry with help of a .reg file:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Adobe\APIP] "enabled"=dword:00000000

On Mac, set a plist value in a shell script:

defaults write /Library/Preferences/com.adobe.headlights.APIP Enabled -int 0
