Guest
Oct 09, 2016 Oct 09, 2016

While installing adobe acrobat reader , the true key got installed.

I followed few steps:

1. Uninstall.exe under Intel Security inside Program files

2. Uninstalled Adobe reader , intel security true key, and McAfree from control panel which was bundled

and restarted the machine but still, I find True Key on my lock screen of windows 10

Finding for the solution to remove true key permanently.

I'm uninstalling Adobe Reader and will be avoiding Adobe products as much as possible after this.  Horrendous practice - I just lost all respect for Adobe.

Hi sameerk4029390

Its most likely that when you installed the Adobe Reader Application you did not uncheck the option that confirms if you wish to get truekey along as you can find in the screenshot.TRUEKEy.PNG

Please try the steps in the link below and see if it helps:

https://help.truekey.com/hc/en-us/articles/212870718-How-do-I-uninstall-the-True-Key-app-from-my-Win...

Let me know if the issue still persists.

Regards,

Supriya

Likewise. Can't wait until Flash is dead—long overdue.

Hello Everyone

I am a new guy on here and don't expect to be much of a contributor to the forum however, having in the past received much valuable advice and information by reading posts from forums such as this I felt obliged to pass on this fix for the above issue that worked for me.

I tried all of the fixes suggested and only obtained partial success, this is what worked for me;

Go to Control Panel, Click, Uninstall a Program, Click McAfee LiveSafe internet security, Click, Uninstall/Change, When it appears, Check the TrueKey box, Click Remove, then when directed, Restart your machine and that should fix the problem.

Regards
