I have had this problem since getting a new iMac and migrating everything over. I go to open a PDF, I'm able to look at the first two pages and then I get the message - 'Adobe Acrobat Pro wants to make changes' - and I enter my password. Then I get the message - 'Suite Product Activation Needed', and it wants me to open Photoshop as it's part of the suite. So, I open Photoshop. Then I try and open the PDF again and again I"m given the message that 'Adobe Acrobat wants to make changes' - and I enter my password. Again, the message about 'Suite Product Activation Needed.' etc ad nauseam. Looking through my applications, I appear to have Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro as well as Acrobat 8 Professional, presumably part of the migration from my old computer.
I would appreciate some help on this.
Thank you.

Hi Rowenaf,
I have checked that you have the Adobe Creative Cloud Photography plan.
There is no Adobe Acrobat plan listed under your account.
As you have mentioned, you have Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro and Adobe Acrobat 8 installed on your iMac.
Could you please confirm once the exact version of the Adobe Acrobat where you receive the error message?
Take help of the steps mentioned here Identify the product and its version for Acrobat and Reader DC.
Just to inform you Adobe Acrobat 8 and 9 are the old and unsupported versions of the application.
They are not compatible with the latest OS version.
So, if you are using these applications on the latest OS version, the application may or may not work properly.
We will be waiting for your response.
Let us know if you need any help.
Regards,
Meenakshi

Thank you for your reply.
I am unable to open the program, so I can’t tell you any more it other than it’s Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro. But I have since downloaded Reader and so now I can read PDFs.
Could you please tell me why Acrobat doesn’t come free with Photoshop, as it did previously?
Thank you,
Rowena Fry.
