Hello Donaldf,
As per the description above, the Email button in Adobe Reader DC is not working on Windows 10 machine after the latest update of Windows, Is that correct?
Please refer and try the solutions and suggestions from the following KB docs Attach to email option is not working | Acrobat DC, Acrobat Reader DC
If the issue persists, please repair the Office from the control panel, reboot the machine and see if this brings any difference.
Let us know how it goes.
Regards,
Anand Sri.

We have a similar issue. We have many people who use the Send via Email button to attach PDFs from the internet to email.
-Browser is IE 11
-Adobe Reader DC 2017.009.20044- they use the IE adobe reader Add-in
-Windows 10
-Exchange Cached Mode - we cannot disable this
After they click "send a copy" a log in prompt appears in the background. If they cancel out of that box without entering credentials they normally can continue composing the email with the attached PDF. Sometimes, Internet explorer completely locks up and has to be forced closed from task manager.
I have tried repairing Reader, resetting Internet explorer, and repairing Office 2016. I have multiple users experiencing this.

Adobe was completely unhelpful. The answer, at least for me was simple once I contacted Windows. I had to upgrade to Office 2016. They walked me through it (on chat) and it worked perfectly. I am now able to mail directly from all of my office apps, Adobe, and Quickbooks. As the malfunction occurred because of the updating of Windows 10 and all of the time (hours) it took me to get to the root of the problem, I felt Windows should have offered a free or, at minimum, deeply discounted upgrade to Windows 16 but they did not. Windows should have warned users that updating would cause malfunctions.
