I cannot see text that has been entered into a fillable form

I have created forms in Acrobat Pro and saved them for use with the free Acrobat. Two have come back and the text files appear blank until I click on the field. However, when I click on another field, the first text then disappears. I found the likely problem is that they have not been filled in using Acrobat Reader, however, the fixes I have found, and tried, do not work or they are not practical (i.e., clicking and copying each set of text in and out of documents).

Your assistance will be much appreciated.

Thank you

Yes, that's most likely the problem.

One solution that usually works is to export the form data and then import it back in.
