Hi Joshuapablo
We are sorry for the trouble. As described, you are unable to open the PDF inside multiple folders and getting the error 'the path does not exist'
Would you mind sharing the workflow/steps you are doing to open the PDF files?
Are you trying to open the PDF on a shared network/drive? If yes, please check the network/drive settings.
Also, please share the screenshot of the error message for a bettter understanding.
You may try to add the file and the folder to the whitelist of the Adobe Acrobat Reader and see if that works for you.
Go to Edit (Windows), Adobe Acrobat Reader (Mac) > Preferences > Enhanced Security > Add the File and the folder path and click ok and see if that works for you.
keep us posted with the results
Regards
Amal

Hi Amal,
I followed the steps. Unfortunately it wouldn't add the path to the 7th folder in layer. When I bring the file out even to 6th folder in layer, it works. It's kind of frustrating. If any other way/strategy could be provided, that would be great. Maybe adobe can resolve the issue by updating their systems to be able to open up files in unlimited multiple layers.

@saima_9744 in addition to what @Amal. have suggested, Windows has a limit of total character count of the file path, which includes the drive letter, all the folder names, and the filename itself, exceeds a limit that Acrobat can handle. So, whn you have 7th folder or 8th folder that is one 'heck of a long file name path!' You could enable long path support through a registry change if you are running Windows 10 or Windows 11—but, I wouldn't do it because PCs isn't a forgiving OS ssytem if you make a mistake, it would work or not!
Try shortening the names of the folders.
