I have a refillable PDF form I created with acrobat.  I turned off the highlighting feature but when I opened the pdf in reader the highlighting was still there.  I also turned off the highlighting in reader and saved the pdf.  I can pull it up without the highlights, but when I email it, the highlights show up.  Is there anyway to prevent this from occurring?

By the "highlighting feature" do you mean the highlighting of form fields in blue? If so, that's nothing to do with the PDF, it's a preference for how *you* see PDF files. Other computers will see PDFs according to *their* preferences, which you cannot control.
