I've spent hours trying UNSUCCESSFULLY to fill out and digitally sign this [government] document below. https://www.vba.va.gov/pubs/forms/VBA-20-10206-ARE.pdf
I can fill in the fields while in chrome browser, but can not digitally sign it "in the browser" on Windows 10. I downloaded the PDF (already filled in with my info) but the Adobe Acrobat Reader Version 2023.001.20143 has the "add signature" grayed out under the "Sign" tab. Also under "Use a certificate" the "digitally sign" is grayed out also. This is SO F'ing frustrating!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What do need to do to digitally sign this document?
TIA

Hope you are doing well. Sorry for your experience with Acrobat Reader.
I checked with the form to reproduce the issue and saw that the signature field is missing altogether.
The form is intended to be signed using ink (also mentioned in the signature area) and then needs to be uploaded and sent back.
If this is not what you are looking for, please reply, and we will try our best to assist you.

You can't digitally sign this form, nor should you. It clearly states that it needs to be signed with ink (under 22A).
