Hello,
I need to import a .tiff into Adobe Reader XI. My older version of Adobe Reader X allowed me to simply select open file and then view all file formats. I would select the .tiff and it would open. I could then save it as a pdf.
However, following the same routine Adobe Reader XI sends me an error message: "Adobe Reader could not open .....tif' because it is either not a supported file type or because the file has been damaged (for example, it was sent as an email attachment and wasn't correctly decoded)."
I tried opening the .tif file on my old laptop and it opened fine. Therefore I don't think there is an issue with the file being damaged.
Suggestions on how to import .tiffs in Reader XI?
Much appreciated.
EH

It is possible with Adobe Acrobat, not Adobe Reader.
