Dear community,
I run Adobe Acrobat Reader DC in its latest version (downloaded today) under Windows 7.
Every time I want to use Acrobat Reader to print a PDF on my Brother HL-2135W printer I get the following error messages :
1. Impossible to print document (I run a French version. Message in French is: Impossible d'imprimer le document.)
After clicking on OK the second error message appears
2. Error during printing the document (Erreur pendant l'impression du document)
This is not related to a specific document, because
a) It happens with every PDF, even PDFs I printed before.
b) I can print the same PDF through Chrome.
Also the printer works as I can print other types of documents (email, Word, etc.) and even PDFs using Chrome.
Printing works when choosing PDFCreator as printer. I get the same error message with Microsoft XPS Document Writer.
I have already restarted the computer many times, and I have uninstalled the software (incl. with Revo Uninstaller) and reinstalled it.
The problem occurred when I tried to reset the Brother TN-2010 cartridge as described here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DdTwJxOwcbo
When I tried to print with the reset cartridge the error occurred. I am now using a new cartridge and printing works fine with the other software. But in Acrobat Reader the problem remains.
Any ideas how to get rid of the problem?
Thanks for you help!

YES. I have a current version of ACROBAT PRO running on Windows 11. Every time I attempt to print the PDF that I opened, it directs me to SAVE AS ...etc...
So I decide to save as..." and then the print dialogue appears again, goes thru the motions, BUT THE PRINTER doesn't do anything. I can print ANY other file format. I am not happy paying $20/month for this useless software.
