Installing Adobe Reader DC

I am trying to install Adobe Reader, that is supposed to be a free software from Adobe. But Adobe is pushing me to buy Adobe Acrobat including trial version, and another program in French. I tried to install Reader a number of times but received same reault. Anyone knows how to install Adobe Reader without buyin any other software from Adobe?

You should be able to download and install Reader for free.I don't see any problems in doing so.
