Installing Adobe Reader

Please how do I simply install Adobe Reader without signing up for a free one month trial of Adobe photo stock? I get to step 3 then unable to proceed until I sign up.  I thought this software was free?

Where are you downloading it from? If you go here Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Install for all versions  and uncheck all the optional offers before you download, you should get just the basic reader.

Thank you for your response.  I have followed the link you provided and it still gave me 3 steps of which none had the option to uncheck what I did not need.

Here's an older version from 2017.  Hopefully, you can download and install it without issues. Once installed, go to help (top left hand corner) and click "check for updates" and that will install the newest version.

For installing adobe reader go to https://get.adobe.com/reader/  and also you can go to https://netgears.support/netgear-powerline/

Never a great idea to download from third party sites.
