insufficient data for an image Reader DC

Each time I download an image of a check from my bank account, I receive the error message "insufficient data for an image" when I try to open and view the pdf. I've checked for updates and done a repair installation. I've made sure all the system requirements are met, but all these have still not resolved the issue. I've checked the forums and the latest issue I see is back in Feb 2018.

Any help is much appreciated.

Report to the bank. 99 times out of  100 it’s the file‘s fault. Just once it was a Reader bug, but that was fixed years ago.

Ooh, does the bank let you set up a logo or picture you made, to include on the check?
