Question

Is ADOBE SECURITY PASSWORD Bullshit?

Hello,

I've purchased ADOBE Pro for MAC for his Security features based on password.

I've discovered that this security can be removed by standard product like PDFelements.

Do you know:

- How to get the Password based security working.

- If not how to retrieve my money back from ADOBE.

I personally feel that ADOBE is not at the expected quality level, sold non functioning features

and feel extremely dissatisfied!

Kind regards,

Phil.

The password security is not a problem of Adobe. It is a restriction of the PDF specification.

As an IT Engineer, I can understand this answer, but in this case this should be formally written and explain in the product documentation, advertising, sales conditions ... I'm still considering this as a fault for a product that is 2 to 3 times more expensive than the others on the market.

I'm still feeling extremely dissatisfied.

When you set the password security in Acrobat you will get following popup:

Hello,

Even the ADOBE Popup is not fully fair:

It should display ".. using third-party products are able to bypass all and every restrictions"

Having says that is this "lack-of feature written in the sales condition, and in the product advertising or description"?

Not really or at least not in Fair and Clear way.

Again I feel more than dissatisfied, and will never recommend ADOBE Acrobat PRO;

The basic missing advertised features are not in line with the public price.

Should we have the same doubt on all ADOBE products?

Best regards.
