Isn't there a free Adobe download ?

Please help me with this. I had Adobe Acrobat Reader on my laptop ever since I got it 6 years ago. It has disappeared. I need it badly, as all my PDF doc (banking, medical, etc) are popping up as multiple copies and making zillions of themselves....it appears they have no "leader," I cannot find my Adobe anywhere in my program files.

AND I need the free version, as that's what I had before, and I can't afford a monthly charge for it.

Thanks you, whoever can advise me....

I have no idea what you mean by "making zillions of themselves" but the free Adobe product for reading PDF files is still around. It's called Acrobat Reader DC. (Don't mix it up with Acrobat DC, which is paid for). Get it on http://get.adobe.com/reader
