After installing Adobe Reader DC I now get a pop error in a piece of software called Lucid Recall. The error reads Access to path'ISOcoated_v2_300_eci.icc' is denied. This worked fine on the server using Adobe reader 9.

Spoken to the software company and they say its an issue with Adobe reader after version 10, there suggestion was to turn off protected mode at startup which I have done but still throws the error.

Yes that folder exists and has other .icc files in it. I have downloaded the ISOcoated icc and placed it in there but still get the same error message. Sent email back to Lucid support for further testing.

Did it exist and have other *.icc / *.icm files in it? If so, sorry I don't know where else to look.

But... perhaps it's in a protected, no access, folder and that's the problem.

Yes checked the folder you named on both the server and the client.

Did you look in the folder I named? This sort of thing rarely comes up on a search.

This is the error I get. Searched the root of C:\ for ISOcoated and cannot find a file with that name. This is on a domain using a standard user account. When running with a elevated account reports work fine so need to find where this file is so I can change permissions for users. Checked both the Client and the server and no sign of ISOcoated file

It will almost certainly be in a Windows system directory. Be sure that you have set Windows to show hidden and system files, because it will hide these by default.  Possibly It will be in C:\Windows\system32\spool\drivers\color
