It is not possible to install Reader on macOS Sierra 10.12.3

During the installation of the latest Reader on macOS Sierra 10.12.3 the system hangs on during the step "Running package scripts" and it is not possible to install the application nor restart the computer by standard means.

    I tried the full installer as well. IT DOES NOT WORK - the installer stops and hangs on during running package scripts.
