Lexmark X2250 Printer does not allow printing with Adobe XI Reader?

I have an older Windows XP computer with an older Lexmark X2250 printer.  I recently downloaded the Adobe XI reader in order to allow me to open some Government of Canada pdf documents which use that version.  Now I can download and read these pdf documents allright.  However, my printer no longer prints any pdf documents.  I always get the Error message:  Prop Res DLL not loaded.  What can I do?  I have tried reloading the Reader, but no luck.  Is this printer too old do accept the XI version of the Reader?

    • Do you see your printer name listed under the printer list?

    Click the Advanced button

    where same issue has been discussed.

    *Seems this problem has been reported to occur with certain Lexmark printers.
