How can i get an email notification when a question I ask is answered?

This used to do it, but seems that it doesnt happen anymore.  It is not getting blocked either so no need to ask that.

I used to get email when someone responded, now i dont and i forget that i asked a question sometimes.

    This did not answer my question so it is not a correct answer for this.

    My email notification is set to ON , but i still never get any notifications to my email address. I only notice stuff when i come in to the forum.  i have to remember to come back.  It hasnt worked for a while. I already knew about the settings and preferences, but it doesnt work.
