Hi guys, can someone help. I have Acrobat x and adobe reader dc installed on one device.
When I right click the decument, its not giving me options to open it with acrobat x.
The work around is to open acrobat x and browse to the file but the user is not happy with that long way, this use to work fine but not anymore. I also can't change it to default to the acrobat x.

Adobe Acrobat X is an old and EOL application if compared with Adobe Acrobat Reader DC . As per the designed behavior, the latest /updated application becomes the default PDF handler on the machine.
Also, it is not recommended to install Acrobat Reader and Acrobat pro on the same machine as one is the subset of other.
If you want to make the Acrobat x as the default application, you may consider removing the Acrobat Pro DC from th

Also, Acrobat X is dated and not designed for actual available operatings systems, There might be compatibility issues. Try to reinstall it with admin rights and compatibility settings for say Windows XP, in case you're working on Windows.
