I am on Windows 10 and own an old Acrobat Writer 9 Standard. It appears that due to an update on Acrobat DC, my Writer was removed. So I deleted DC and reinstalled my Writer. Then tried to download DC again, but it now clearly asks to remove all old versions. Now I have to work on the old Writer and cannot run DC in parallel. Is there a way around it? DC is current and preferable, and probably required on some websites, but I don't want to loose my Writer, for which I paid a lot of money years ago. Can I go back to an older DC version? Any other suggestions? Thanks.
Hi Angela,
Thank you for reaching out and sorry for the delay in response.
It seems by Acrobat Writer 9 Standard you mean Acrobat 9 version.
If you are trying to install the latest version of the Acrobat application on the machine, it will remove the old version.
It is not possible to use both version on the same machine.
Let us know if you have any questions.
Thanks,
Meenakshi
