Lotus Notes - PDF Datei in EMail speichert keine Änderungen

Hallo liebe Community,

wir benutzen aktuell den Acrobat Reader DC in der Version v19.010.20098. Wenn man eine PDF Datei in Lotus Notes EMail im Bearbeiten Modus öffnet, kann man die Datei dann im Reader bearbeiten und speichern. Die Änderungen werden im Anhang (die PDF Datei) der Lotus Notes EMail übernommen.

Unsere aktuell genutzte Lotus Notes Version ist 8.5.3. Da wir zu MS 365 wechseln, werden wir diesen auch nicht mehr aktualisieren.

 

Bei Tests auf die neuere Acrobat Reader DC Version 20.013.20064 ist uns aufgefallen das dieses nicht mehr funktioniert. Man kann die in der EMail angehängte PDF Datei im Bearbeitungs Modus öffnen und Bearbeiten. Allerdings werden die Änderungen nicht mehr gespeichert.

Auffallend ist, das Acrobat Reader DC beim Speichern nach einem Speicherort fragt, und das ist nciht das Lotus Notes Temp Verzeichnis wo die sich zu bearbeitende Datei befinden muss damit Lotus Notes die Änderung an der Datei speichert.

 

Da es mit vorherigen Versionen immer einwandfrei funktioniert hat, gehe ich mal davon aus das es nicht am Lotus Notes Client liegt.

 

Kennt jemand das "Phänomen" und hat eventuell eine Info dazu?

    Hello,

    thank you for your response. And yes, it was active.

    I tried it again with protected mode inactive, and it works.

    Sometimes you can't see the forest for the trees and you can't do the "simplest" things.

    Thank you so much. 😉

    One question, for silent install and software deployment procedure, is it possible to change this as default to off via Parameter, registry settings or similar?
