MacBook Air M1 Adobe Reader lagging

Good morning, I have installed the free version of Acrobat Reader via official website and its lagging a lot when scroling. The computer is new (Macbook Air M1) and I cant find a way to solve this once my knowledge of computers is very low. Can someone help me with this? Thank you!

Also, the majoraty of documents I work with are in Google drive, maybe that influences the scrolling?
