macOS Monterey Reader DC2022.001 "raise without handler"

Hi community,
macOS Monterey 12.4 all updates applied.

Adobe Acrobat Reader DC 2022.001.20142

keep geeting the famous"raise without handler" when opening PDF's.

Tried uninstall, clean Library, fresh download and install, problem still exists.
I see this problem is around for several years now, with different tips what to do,

tried everything which Google found, no luck...

Any idea what to try next ?

I solved the problem by switching to Foxit  PDF reader and make it the default program for PDF's.
