Markup not showing on shared PDF

When I markup my PDF on the Acrobat Reader app, I can see my specific changes in the toolbar. For example, if I replace text, it will show in the sidebar "replace selected text" and the change I made. However, when I try to share my work with others, they only see my markup as comments, not the specific markup, such as replaced text. How do I save/share my PDF so others can see specific comments and not just general comments?

I've tried having them view it in the Adobe Acrobat app and through their browser.

Viewing it in Adobe software is the best option.

What do you mean by "they only see my markup as comments, not the specific markup", exactly?

A markup is a comment... Do they not see it in the Comments List?

They only see that I've commented, they don't see the specific kind of comment, such as whether it's replacing text or adding text. The person I'm sending it to wants to see the specific kinds of comments.

It's still not very clear, I'm afraid. Can you post a screenshot of what they're seeing?

Sorry about that! The first photo is what they see, and the second is what I see on my version.
