Hello!

I hope you are doing well.

If you're encountering a "missing font pack" error in Adobe Acrobat Reader version 2025.001.20432, it indicates that the document you're trying to view uses fonts not embedded within the PDF. To resolve this issue, you'll need to install the appropriate font pack corresponding to your Acrobat Reader version and system architecture (32-bit or 64-bit). Check the current version of the OS architecture, and try downloading the fonts accordingly. If you are on a 32-bit architecture, use this URL. For 64-bit, use this URL.

You can also try resetting the Acrobat Reader's preferences once, and reboot the machine. Adjust Security Settings: Sometimes, enhanced security settings can interfere with font rendering:

  • Open Acrobat Reader.
  • Navigate to Menu> Preferences > Security (Enhanced).
  • Temporarily disable "Enable Enhanced Security" and set "Protected View" to "Off".
  • Click OK and restart Acrobat Reader.
  • Note: Disabling these settings can pose security risks. Ensure you re-enable them after testing.

Let us know how it goes.

Thanks,

Anand Sri.

The link you provide only has font packs through 2023.x. The question was specifically about 2025.x. Can you please provide a source for the font packs for Acrobat Reader 2025.x?

Hello @Adam_K_

I hope you are doing well, and thanks for reaching out.

Have you tried installing the available Font packs for the Continuous version of Acrobat or Acrobat Reader from the official link: 64-bit, 32-bit? Let us know if you experience any issues with the Font packs, or get any error message while using the app.

Thanks,
