Nach öffnen ist das PDF leer

Ich habe einen Antrag, der auf dem Desktop gespeichert werden muss. Dann kann ich ihn ausfüllen und speichern, normalerweise. Jetzt ist das Formular leer, wenn ich es wieder öffne. Erst seit dem letzten Update. Vorher ging es ohne Probleme. Ich nutze den kostenlose Adobe Reader. Hat jemand eine Idee?

I hope you are doing well, and thanks for reaching out.

 

Is it happening with one specific PDF or with all the PDF forms? Please ensure you have the latest version of Acrobat Reader installed on the machine: 25.001.20643, Optional update, Aug 25, 2025. Check for any pending updates from the Menu > help > check for updates, install the updates, restart the app and the machine, and try again.

 

For testing purposes, please disable the Protected Mode by going to Menu > Preferences > Security (Enhanced) and Unchecking “Enable Protected Mode at startup.” Then, close and reopen the PDF to test. If that solves it, re-enable the setting afterward for protection.

Hallo,

vielen Dank für die Antwort. Es funktioniert trotzdem nicht. Habe es nach der Anleitung ausprobiert. Ältere PDFs kann ich öffnen und der Inhalt ist vorhanden. Das neue Formular bleibt nach eintragen und speichern leer, wenn ich es erneut öffne. Die Behörde, von der es kommt, sagt, es würde alles funktionieren. Ich habe das Problem auf 2 Laptops und eine Freundin ebenfalls auf ihrem PC und Laptop. Die Version des Formulars vom Juni 2025 geht, die Version von Juli 2025 kann ich nicht öffnen, ohne den Inhalt zu verlieren. Das ist sehr seltsam. 

Neue Version von Adobe ist installiert.

Thank you for your detailed follow-up. This behavior is most likely due to changes in the form's structure.

XFA-based forms (a type of dynamic PDF form) lose data when reopened unless viewed in a compatible version of Adobe Reader

Browser-based filling (e.g., in Microsoft Edge or Chrome) can cause data to appear missing when reopened in Adobe Acrobat

 

For testing purposes, open a copy of the PDF form in any brower and check.

Could you share the PDF form with us for testing? Also, could you provide the current version of Acrobat Reader installed and the OS details? Go to Menu(Windows)/Acrobat/(Mac) > Help > About Adobe Acrobat Reader, and share the version details with us.

Hllo,

vielen Dank. Ich habe das neueste Update installiert, das Problem besteht weiterhin. Kann es sein, dass es an dem ersteller des Formulars liegt? Von dort bekomme ich jedoch die Antwort, dass alles funktioniert. Ich habe es nochmal an anderen geräten, auch außerhalb meines Haushaltes getestet und das Problem besteht überall.

We tested the file with the latest versions of Acrobat and Reader 25.001.20756 Planned update, Oct 01, 2025, and when I reopen the file after filling in the details, I can see the details/data. Can you install the trial version of Acrobat once and try it?

We are not able to reproduce the issue in-house. Could you please create a test user profile with full admin rights, install Acrobat or Reader, and test the workflow? Let us know how it goes.
