Need to get my .pdf formats back

New Here ,
Nov 15, 2016 Nov 15, 2016

I have always used Adobe .pdf formats (Acrobat or Adobe Reader) to save documents that I downloaded from the web.  However, at some point all of my .pdf files were converted to the Kingsoft .wps suite.  Is there a way that I can re-convert all of the files from Kingsoft .wps format back to .pdf, either singly or as a group?

It's not likely that the files themselves were converted, just that the PDF file association changed to that other application.

If you let us know what's your OS we could instruct you on how to change it back.

OK, then right-click any PDF file, select Open With - Choose Default Program, and then select Reader and tick the box that says "Always use the selected app for this kind of file".

Thank you so much. I did get the original answer and have used this

approach very successfully. I am indebted to the Adobe Community for

this help. I originally responded and offered to make a donation to the

Adobe Community in appreciation, if there is some way I can do that.

But other than that step, I believe you can close your files on the

procedural question.
