When viewing pdf files from a network share, acrobat reader for some reason looses track of the file after ~2 hours. Then the file must be closed and opened again. It is not because the network drive i no longer available, I have checked that many times.

It is a consistent and highly annoying bug which has been present for years. Other people has reported it as well, but nothing seems to be done. PLEASE PLEASE fix it. It is driving me nuts.

Hi Jesper

Hope you are doing well and sorry for the delay in response. As described, When viewing pdf files from a network share, acrobat reader for some reason looses track of the file after ~2 hours.

What happens when you download the PDF file to your computer locally and try to view it? Does it looses track this time as well?

It seems to be some issue with the network setting. Please get in touch with your IT Admin and  check you network settings and group policy settings and see if that helps.

Regards

Amal
